ASBCI discusses skills needed for future industry success

On 2 December, the Association of Suppliers to the British Clothing Industry (ASBCI) hosted a webinar to discuss the essential skills that will take the fashion industry forward. The organisation’s event director Dr Julie King moderated the session and was joined by a panel of four experts: Jenny Holloway, founder of Fashion Enter, a social enterprise specialising in training and manufacturing excellence; Kate Hills, founder of UK sourcing promoter Make it British; Jackie Lewis, course development director at the apparel knowledge hub MOTIF; and Lindsay Clarke, recruitment director at Planet Personnel, a consultancy which recruits candidates for the global apparel, footwear and textile industries.
