Ever since she was accepted to university in 2012, Juliana Rex knew she wanted to do something innovative that could also help her community. Growing up in the province of Milne Bay in Papua New Guinea, she took inspiration from the ocean that she's lived by and loved her entire life, determined to find a way to make tidal energy a power solution for her country. However, with few others believing tidal energy could be the answer to Papua New Guinea's problems, what started as a science project for Rex could result in her pitching investors a new business idea.
