A framed photograph of President Teddy Roosevelt seated on a greasy Bucyrus Erie steam shovel at the Panama Canal hung prominently on Crane Tech's founder, Charlie "Doc" Collier's office wall. What really caught his eye in that photo was Roosevelt seated in the crane wearing his signature white suit from Brooks Brothers.
