IATA'S NEW LEADERSHIP

Major leadership changes are underway at the International Air Transport Association (IATA). As of July 1, Tony Tyler, former chief executive of Cathay Pacific, succeeded Giovanni Bisignani as IATA's director general and CEO, at which point Bisignani became director general emeritus. The leadership changes were announced at the conclusion of the Association's 67th AGM and World Air Transport Summit in Singapore in June.
