Gerald R. Ford CSG Update

Under the leadership of Carrier Strike Group 12 (CSG-12), USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN-78), along with Carrier Air Wing 8 (CVW-8); Destroyer Squadron 2 (DESRON-2);CSG-12's Air and Missile Defense Commander (AMDC), CO of USS Gettysburg (CG-64); and CSG-12's Information Warfare Commander (IWC) commenced the first-ever fully integrated Carrier Strike Group operations for this Ford-class aircraft carrier on Nov. 8.
