Mott macdonald is carrying out climate resilience planning and capacity building in Tajikistan for the Asian Development Bank (ADB). The studies are part of the joint ADB, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and World Bank Pilot Programme for Climate Resilience in nine countries worldwide.Tajikistan, in central Asia, is among the countries most vulnerable to climate change, with worsening weather conditions, more frequent floods and droughts posing a severe threat to the country's food security, ecosystems, downstream infrastructure, communities and services such as irrigation, hydropower and potable water.
