Time Cost score 'good progress', says UU

United Utilities (UU) says that it is continuing to drive more effective and efficient delivery of its capital programme. The company, which has invested more than ￡l.6B in the first half of the current 2010-2015 regulatory cycle, says this is reflected in a 30% improvement in its Time: Cost: Quality index (TCQi) score from around 50% 18 months ago to consistently more than 80%. The company said this is "good progress at the mid-point of the five-year period", as management has sought to deliver a smoother investment profile to support efficient delivery of outputs and reduce risk.
