摘要

Initial orienting emission measurements were taken during the cutting process using a hand-guided water-vapour plasma torch with regenerative cooling. The base materials used were a simple structural steel (S235JR), a galvanised sheet steel and a chrome-nickel steel (X10 CrNiTi 18 9). The emission rates, the size distributions of the particles and the nominal hygienic air requirement limit value (NHL) were determined analytically. The total dust emissions were subsequently compared with those of other thermal cutting processes. With reference to the accident-prevention regulation issued by the employers' liability insurance association VBG 15, this resulted in recommendations for the design of ventilation installations.
