Path to be an Engineer

All it takes is belief in self. Obstacles and opposition are inevitable, but those are not defi nitive factors of why success cannot be reached. There is always a way to gain what is needed. I have been taught always to keep my integrity and believe in myself; I will never falter in those beliefs. To repeat a previous statement, “without opportunity the ability to strive towards goals will not supervene.” I now have an opportunity to serve in the capacity of a volunteer student. I have already in a short time contributed to sharing the importance of mass properties with students, teachers, and the general public, and will continue to do so. A going forward goal will be to next time submit a SAWE technical paper about mass properties that encompasses formulas, graphs, and practical applications of the knowledge that will be gained. Thank you to the whole SAWE community for allowing me an opportunity to start to see what mass properties is about, why it is important in so many applications, and facilitating an opportunity to explore a new career path in engineering!
