Aylesbury-based Kingdom Tours is maintaining its long tradition of a weekend waterway tour in May. For 2010 the chosen waterways are the Thames & Medway Canal and the River Medway in Kent, and the tour will look at a canal under restoration and improvements to a river navigation.rnDuring the weekend of 30th April to 3rd May, participants will take an overview of the Medway Valley by using its riverside rail line. The weekend will include a guided tour with members of the Thames & Medway Canal Association, and an evening talk. Extended cruises will be taken on paddle steamer Kingswear Castle and MV Allington Belle, and there will be visits to Chatham Historic Dockyard and the Kent & East Sussex Railway.
