Braunston Marina gives £20,000 for President boiler appeal

The Friends of President, in its appeal to raise £80,000 to replace the condemned boiler on the historic steam narrowboat, has received a donation of £20,000 from Braunston Marina. The cheque was presented to the group at the boat's mooring in the Black Country Living Museum by Pete Waterman, the legendary 1980s music producer who is also a steam railway and canal enthusiast.
