At the time of writing this article, many of us were still in the process of preparing for Enviro 08 in Melbourne. This year we have been overwhelmed by the number of papers submitted and I'm sure the event will yet again produce a range of fantastic opportunities, not only to hear about the work being done in specific areas of the industry, but also the chance to meet old friends, and make new contacts. In the last issue of Water, I brought you news of an AWA initiative that would give members greater opportunities to use their specialist skills in a greater variety of ways.
