In my last column in February, I tempted fate by noting that the then imminent Ozwater Conference and Exhibition was looking very positive. Thankfully the reality has met - indeed exceeded - expectations. This edition of Water will give some insights into just how positive it was.rnIt is mandatory at this point to include a few statistics: I will not recount the thousands of meals served or the hundreds of papers delivered. I will say however that attendance has grown even further since our record breaking event in Melbourne last year. This year saw almost 1300 delegates attend sessions. Added to this were several thousand registered trade show visitors plus exhibitors.
