WABAG to develop Saudi wastewater recycling project

Specialist sustainable water technology company VA Tech Wabag is about to develop a wastewater recycling project in Saudi Arabia, which will treat wastewater from the Al Kharj industrial park, near Riyadh, so that it can be reused as service water. This will help to conserve limited local water resources while also saving costs. The deal is worth around €6 million ($8.2 million) and will involve the high degree purification of wastewater emanating from the park's various production facilities.
