June is National Safety Month, and with that in mind, Water Well Journal contains multiple feature articles and columns designed to help you and your staff stay safe at the job site.rnAssociate Editor Mike Price wrote a feature article titled "The Tipping Point" on page 26. The article analyzes the domino effect stress can have on an employee operating in the workplace. Price interviewed a licensed professional clinical counselor who says stress can potentially cause depression, thus putting the worker at risk of overlooking a safety measure. Both a driller and a director of environmental health and safety of a drill rig manufacturer give their thoughts on the topic as well. A sidebar story concludes with recommendations by the counselor on how to treat depression.
