The May 2017 issue of Water Well Journal focuses on irrigation and groundwater and contains a pair of feature articles and a column on the important topic. Writer Mike Allen has authored one of the feature stories as well as the column. In his cover story titled "Sustainability Doesn't Have to Mean Suspension" on page 20, he states there are vast opportunities existing for groundwater professionals in managing our water resources for irrigation needs of the future. He says the expertise, science, and engineering knowledge of the groundwater industry can provide a platform for greater involvement.
