Surveys indicate 80% of teens have worked by the time they finish high school. While work provides numerous benefits for young people, it can also be dangerous. In 2013, there were a little more than 18 million workers younger than 24 years of age, representing 13% of the total workforce, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
