From time to time customers, or potential customers, ask me how much power is consumed by their water softeners or filters. Can you tell me? That's a tough question without knowing what kind of softeners you sell. As you may know, some use no power. I suppose that's one reason some potential customers ask about it. Other softeners use one motor to power a timer and another to drive a cycle-positioning device, and yet others use one motor to drive both the timer and the cycle positioning device.
