Automated Average Areal Rainfall Calculation in Libya

摘要

An automated computer program is developed for calculating areal average rainfall (AAR) value and its implementation is presented for the arid region representative country, Libya. The procedue is conceptually simple by consideration of almost equilateral triangles connecting adjacent meteorological stations with the assumption of linear rainfally change between stations.
