People have always been fascinated with explorers; those hardy souls amongst us who were willing often at great personal peril to go beyond the realm of the known and familiar and see what was to be seen. Surely there were great explorers in prehistory. How else could the great Human Diaspora have occurred without brave men and women leading the way. Great cultures throughout time have their explorers. Hannu the Egyptian led 3,000 men across the desert to the Red Sea and there embarked on a sea expedition exploring the Arabian peninsula in the 20th or 21st Century B.C./B.C.E.
