The chemical industry and Defense Department (DOD) are disputing the rationale EPA used to derive draft risk estimates for perfluorochemicals (PFCs) in two key draft health effects documents, levels which will serve as the foundation for lifetime health advisories the agency plans to set for the two ubiquitous, largely unregulated PFCs.
