REMOS SHOWS GX ON SHARK FLOATS

Remos Aircraft, the German light aircraft manufacturer that claims to be the world's leading producer of LSA aircraft, displayed its new GX model on a set of Downwind Technology's Shark Series III com-rnposite amphibious floats at EAA's AirVenture Oshkosh.rnA Remos representative said the float-equipped GX had not flown before it was put on display.rnPreliminary specifications published by Remos call for a maximum floatation of 1710 pounds per float. Empty weight of the GX with the amphibious floats using an electrically actuated pneumatic gear system is projected at 950 pounds.
