The EPA in NSW now have a $2.5M budget to implement a state wide Container Deposit Scheme (CDS) by mid 2017 as part of the NSW election commitment. Queensland also has bipartisan support for a CDS and have setup an advisory review group, working closely with NSW for a consistent approach.
