This book describes in great detail the characteristics, appearance, and operational histories of the 18 fast escort ships of the E50 (Le Corse)/E52A (he Picard, Le Breton, and L'Agenais)/E52B (L'Alsacien) series built during the 1950s. This large volume is issue No. 30 in the publisher's "Collection Navires et Histoire des Marines du Monde" [Ships and History of the World's Navies], among the finest series of books on warship history ever published. While the series has included U.
