Role of the family in the life of the elderly

Some comments on modern-day families with elderly persons The life of the elderly depends much on their family situation. Family is the place where a person was born, grew up and was educated, and it is a fulcrum and a support for the old. The elderly wish to pass on their best to the later generations and to have a relaxing life before passing away. The first and foremost desire of the elderly is to have a happy family wherein their children and grandchildren are successful and able to contribute to the development of the country. However, in reality, the elderly have to face a lot of problems which need to be considered and solved, especially in a time in which the "nuclearization" of the family is changing the structure of life.
