Vietnam's First Bank Opens Representative Office Abroad

The State Bank of Vietnam, or the central bank, has issued Decision No 1731/QD-NHNN giving approval to Saigon Thuong Tin Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Sacombank) to open a representative office in China. This is the first representative office of Vietnam's commercial bank to be opened abroad.Under the decision, the representative office will be named Saigon Thuong Tin Commercial Joint Stock Bank-Representative Office in China, located in Guangxi's Nanning City in China.
