The Good, the Bad and the Ugly

Spread throughout this issue you will find references to IHST, the International Helicopter Safety Team efforts. Perhaps many of you are unfamiliar with this amazing initiative which is being conducted on a wholly volunteer basis and its goal is to reduce the worldwide helicopter accident rate by 80 percent within 10 years. This is a massive undertaking and it recently received a major boost at the Heli-Expo meeting held in Houston in late February.
