With all the bad economic news we are hit with every day right now, it's easy to ignore the good news when it appears. But there is good news out there. The first bit of good news for those of us immersed in the technology industry is that it is, in fact, not 2001. The last big downturn was centered in the technology industry and took out a lot of players, not all of them weak. Spread across the entire economy, this downturn will no doubt be a rough road for the tech industry, but it won't rip it apart.
