Spot activity was back at moderate levels last week, and as noted in the past several weeks, a good portion of new activity is being transacted for delivery in late 2018 or early 2019. Outside of a pocket of material for Cameco delivery that was discussed last Monday and still being offered by a motivated seller at lower pricing during the week, bids and offers remained fairly firm throughout the week around the $21.75 pricing level for delivery at either ConverDyn or Comurhex. Then about mid-day on Friday, an offer for limited material started to tick down towards the bid level and ultimately resulted in activity reported prior to 2:30 pm ET with a transaction booked at $21.40. After that material was cleared from the market, the buy side tested the $21.40 level again, and without a response, bids started to move back up to the $21.60 level within the hour.
