November tends to be one of the more active months for spot transactions, and, based on the volume booked for the month by U_xC, this trend continued in 2019. For the month, a total 51 spot transactions were awarded. Of this total, 43 were in the form of U_3O_8, five involved UF_6, one was for conversion services, and two involved enrichment services. Of those that contained uranium, there were 48 transactions involving over 8.1 million pounds U_3O_8 equivalent, bringing the annual volume to 56.8 million pounds U_3O_8e under 296 transactions. For conversion content, there were six reported transactions involving 332,000 kgU as UF_6. The term market was fairly active for the month with a total of seven utility contract awards being reported; two involving UF_6, three for conversion services, one for enrichment services, and one for enriched uranium product (EUP).
