Following the previous week’s increase in both number oftransactions and volume, last week’s activity continued apace.Volume was primarily focused on prompt delivery for eitherNovember or December, although a portion of the deals calledfor forward delivery, but still within the 12-month spottimeframe. A total of 16 spot transactions was reported asawarded since last Monday involving about 2.6 millionpounds U_3O_8, bringing the monthly totals to 43 transactionsinvolving just over 7.6 million pounds U_3O_8 equivalent. Withadditional off-market activity confirmed from earlier thismonth as well as earlier last quarter, annual spot volume nowresides at 56.3 million pounds U_3O_8e under 291 transactions.
