Alan Keyes, the little-heard-from GOP presidential candidate, is in a scolding mood. The press rarely calls, donors don't seem to know his address, and he hears whispers at every stop that the country—especially the Republican Party—isn't ready for a black presidential candidate. When we visited with Keyes, he reluctantly responded to our pestering about the political scene before him.
