摘要

In most of the world, the transition from rural to urban habitation is quite completed and, according to Fox and Goodfellow, who are the authors of Cities and Development, the main implications of this process consist in such global development challenges as reducing poverty, promoting economic growth, improving human security and confronting environmental change.
