In Worlding Cities: Asian Experiments and the Art of Being Global, Ananya Roy and Aihwa Ong bring together an impressive array of scholarship on Asian cities (broadly defined) that interrogates the circulation of various forms of the "global" in and around "Asia." Emerging out of a Social Science Research Council Inter-Asian Connections conference workshop, this collection provocatively contributes to ongoing discussions about global cities, policy mobilities, and the rapid urbanization ongoing in many parts of Asia.
