Terms such as slum dwelling, favela and shanty town are evocative notions of which many of us have scant understanding. Learning from Delhi offers an enlightened awareness enticing us to revisit our normal perspectives. A worthy continuation of the pioneering work of Professor Balkrishna V Doshi, it investigates human activity in diverse living environments, asserting quality of life and sense of place as genuine objectives and accepting change as a constant.
