Kuwait hands out key award

TECHNIP Energies has landed what it has termed as a "significant" project engineering and management services contract from an offshoot of Kuwaiti state oil company Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) that could be worth up to around $300 million. The Paris-based contractor -which recently completed its split from TechnipFMC -secured the deal from KPC subsidiary Kuwait Integrated Petroleum Industries Company (KIPIC). Technip Energies revealed last week it had been awarded the six-year dealfor project engineering and management services at a number of projects in the Al-Zour complex in southern Kuwait.
