Rembrandt- Vermeer heads back to storage

WINTER-SHALL Noordzee has decided to defer indefinitely its Rembrandt-Vermeer (F17) project - up to now the largest ongoing offshore oil development in the Netherlands - following thwarted attempts to obtain a key environmental permit. The project is one of thousands of construction, engineering and energy projects that have become caught up in measures aimed at limiting nitrogen oxide emissions in the country.
