SAUDI Aramco is evaluating bids from leading players for four offshore projects that were offered earlier this year, as a part of the kingdom's long-term agreement (LTA) contracts with a pool of engineering, procurement and construction contractors. At least three people with direct knowledge of the tender process told Upstream that technical and commercial offers for the offshore jobs were recently submitted by the LTA players, with the Saudi state-controlled oil giant expected to take a final decision within weeks. "Bids have been submitted for contract release purchase orders (CRPO) 67, 68, 69 and 70," one person confirmed.
