Fresh hit for Medco at Natuna

INDONESIAN operator Medco Energi is continuing to step on the accelerator at Natuna Sea Block B where it has drilled another successful well and is progressing the Forel development. The company has already made three new offshore gas discoveries this year - Bro-nang-2, Kaci-2 and Terubuk-5 -and confirmed a fourth successful well in its latest exploration update. The West Belut-1 appraisal well successfully confirmed hydrocarbon resources with five drill stem tests, said Medco, and post-drill analysis is ongoing.
