Rodeo loses Permian drive

Colombia's Ecopetrol has suspended all drilling at its Permian basin joint venture in the US with Occidental Petroleum after cutting capital spending at the Rodeo shale project by 75%.The project now has a budget of between $180 million to $200 million, down from an initial estimate of $800 million.
