Winners declared in Rosmari Marjoram battle

SHELL has awarded the three key front-end engineering and design contracts for its Rosmari Marjoram giant sour gas development off Sarawak, East Malaysia as it moves towards the final investment decision, perhaps as early as next year. Worley's Malaysian subsidiary, Perunding Ranhill Worley (PRW), was awarded the FEED contract for the offshore workscope late last week, according to a source familiar with the tender. PRW had earlier performed the pre-FEED work for Rosmari Marjoram. The tightly fought contest for the offshore work ultimately came down to a three-horse race between a trio of players - PRW, Aker Solutions and TechnipFMC,according to a well-informed source.
