A Nkr3.6 billion ($377 million) package of measures unveiled by the Norwegian government to promote renewables development has gained a lukewarm response within political and industry circles as contractors struggle to fill their orderbooks amid industry cutbacks due to the Covid-19 crisis. The measures intended to support the green shift in the country's key oil and gas industry include increased funding for research, technology development in areas including hydrogen, and so-called green shipping.
