Onyx on call for Beach job

AUSTRALIAN independent Beach Energy has opted to use a semi-submersible drilling rig that has not worked for three years for a multi-well campaign off south-east Australia, writes Russell Searancke. The Ocean Onyx semisub has been stacked in South-East Asia since early 2016. It is understood its last drilling assignment was in Trinidad & Tobago.
