Bid to double CBM output

LEADING coalbed methane private sector players in India are carrying out extensive drilling campaigns in hopes of more than doubling the country's CBM production over the next three to four years. A strong local gas market, improved pipeline infrastructure, policy reforms initiated by the government and a market-based gas pricing regime have improved the investment climate for CBM operators.
