Shell changes its plans for Rosmari-Mar joram

SHELL has revised the development concept for the Ros-mari-Marjoram sour gas project off Sarawak in East Malaysia, and has already begun identifying its main contractors. The plan had been to deploy a central processing platform, but sources said Shell has come up with capital savings and improved efficiencies by shifting the processing functions to an onshore plant and therefore having no need for a big offshore platform.
