Partition wall is made up from two partition wall shells (10, 11) which can be independently assembled. They can be fixed to a gap (5) in the assembly ceiling (3) so that the hollow space (7) between them is linked to the hollow space (6) in the ceiling. Where their end areas penetrate into this hollow space they may be bent away from each other in a funnel shape. Without frame or reinforcing struts, noise transmission is largely eliminated.
