REGULATORS in Mexico have signed off on exploration plans for two shallow-water areas won by UK player Premier Oil in the country's Round 3.1 in 2018. The areas lie in the north of the country off the state of Tamaulipas, starting just two kilometres off the coast, according to a presentation made to the National Hydrocarbons Commission (CNH), which approved the plans. The tracts, designated areas 11 and 13 in the marine part of the Burgos basin, have water depths ranging between 30 and 60 metres.
