Bosnia round gets under way

BOSNIA-HERZEGOVINA has launched its first oil and gas licensing round in the hope of capitalising on geology that has proven prolific in its neighbours and previously attracted exploratory interest. The round, put on by the Federal Ministry of Energy, Mining & Industry, will include four blocks — three in the Pannonian basin and one in the Dinarides — which regulators are calling "highly prospective". The acreage covers a total of 4921 square kilometres.
