Noble Q4 loss widens

NOBLE Energy is tightening the purse strings this year after suffering a wider loss in the fourth quarter due largely to a heavy impairment on its Eagle Ford gas asset in the US. The US independent has cut its capital expenditure budget for 2020 to between $1.6 billion and $1.8 billion, a reduction of around 25% on last year's $2.26 billion.
