Petrobras open for flotel bids

BRAZIL'S Petrobras has launched anew tender to charter up to two small-sized flotels to carry out campaigns, likely in the Campos and Espirito Santo basins. Industry sources told Upstream that Petrobras invited contractors to submit commercial bids on 27 February for Class 2 dynamically positioned accommodation vessels equipped with 42 berths and fitted with a gangway. Petrobras has split the tender into two packages and is offering contracts for six months, renewable for an equal period, in each lot, with a mobilisation period of 90 days.
